Our environmental education team has partnered with the Girl Scouts of America to provide rainforest, ecology and conservation programs for your Girl Scouts.

JUNGLE TALES
2nd Tuesday of each month     Ages: 2-5 (with adult)     Time: 10-11am      Fee: $4 per session

This popular preschool program focuses on the rain forest and our local environment. Join us each month for a different nature-related story, activity, and craft. This program fills up fast and pre-registration is required.

GUIDED CONSERVATORY TOURS

Join Master Gardeners as they conduct tours highlighting information about the interesting and unusual plants in the Conservatory.   Tours begin at 2:30pm every Saturday in June, July, and August, and the 2nd and 4th Saturdays of the month from September through May.

Dancing Waters
Dates: January 31-February 15        Hours: Mon-Sat: 10 a.m.-5 p.m. and Sun 1-5 p.m.      
Admission: $3 per person or $8 per family (2 adults max.)
Enjoy the tropical Conservatory this winter and see a fountain show like youíve never seen. Each unique piece of art is made of repurposed items and constructed by Dennis and Daniel Baar of Two of a Kind Studio.

Early Morning Meditation
Date: Saturday, February 7        Time: 8:30-9:30 a.m.        Fee: $5 per person
Join us for a tranquil morning in the tropical Conservatory. Program will begin with an instructor-led meditation and breathing exercise and end with free quite time for finding restorative peace. Registration required.

Sweets for Your Sweetie
Date: February 14       Time: 7-9 p.m.        Fee: $8/person or $15/couple        Ages 16+
Celebrate Valentine's Day with treats from the tropics including chocolate and coffee, all while enjoying the candlelit romantic atmosphere of the Conservatory. Reserve your spot by February 13th with the code 224850.

Crunch and Munch
Date: Monday, February 23        Time: 10-11 a.m.        Fee: $4 per child        Ages: 2-5
Bring the little ones to meet some of the Conservatoryís critters and learn what they like to eat. Have fun with a craft and more! Registration required.

Early Morning Photography
Date: Saturday, February 28        Time: 8-10 a.m.       Fee: $5 per person        Ages: Adult

It's springtime at the Garfield Conservatory! Come see our stunning display of tulips and other spring blooms against the backdrop of our permanent tropical collection.No registration required.

Gnome Away from Home
Dates: Friday, March 20 - Saturday, April 4        Hours: Mon-Sat: 10 a.m.-5 p.m. and Sun 1-5 p.m.       Fee: Special Event Admission $3 per person, $8 per family        Ages: All
It's spring break, and garden gnomes from far and wide have gathered at the Conservatory for a tropical vacation! Come see this whimsical display of garden gnomes enjoying the tropical escape and see if you can spot them all! No registration required.

Gnomes and Fairies Workshop
Date: Saturday, March 28      Time: 2:00-3:00 p.m.      Fee: $6 per participant        Ages: 3 and up
Join us as we celebrate our Gnome Away from Home Show with a family fun program making small gnome and fairy houses and figures out of natural objects. Registration required by March 18.

Tree Bud-dies!
Date: Monday, March 30      Time: 10:00-11:00 a.m.      Fee: $4 per child        Ages: 2-5
Where have all the leaves gone and when will they come back? Join us as we explore tree buds, the start of next year's leaves, through games, stories and crafts. Registration required.
